I visited Akihabara for the first time in ten years. The aim of this time was to try a maid cafe and actually, I tried two of them. Nowadays in Akiba, there are a lot of maid cafes where waitresses wears maid costumes. It was fun not only for nerds, but also for foreign tourists. The first cafe was full of customers and I was asked to wait 15 min. So I booked a table there and looked for another one. The next one was Meilish Cafe, which had a special event called Octoberfest and the waitresses wore German maid costumes. I ordered iced cocoa which was common but a little bit expensive 630 yen. Toyota Kaikan Exhibition Hall (aka Toyota Kaikan Museum) , which is next to the office, is just one of the cultural facilities the company operates. (The others are Toyota Automobile Museum, Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, Toyota Kuragaike Commemorative Hall, and Sakichi Toyoda Memorial House, scattered around Aichi Prefecture.) To be candid, I was not so interested in cars but in this museum, because of the quartet performance of Toyota Partnership Robots which are held in its theater every day. I had assumed that it was the only thing I couldn't miss out on in the hall, but the fact is that I was so impressed by other exhibitions as well. I had arrived at the museum 20 minutes before the robot quartet band performance started. I had a plan to spare the 20 minutes for the exhibitions except the show, but the exhibitions were more interesting to me than I had expected, although I am not so curious about cars. The exhibitions include the model cars showing Toyota's concept for the environmental issue, virtual factory tour with a wide screen and miniatures, and the latest lines in the showroom including Prius, Estima, and Land Cruiser.(Unfortunately, I don't know many <b>...</b>
